Kristina graduated from Pacific Rim College in April 2017 and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMA of British Columbia shortly after. Her interest in alternative health care began at a young age when she experienced various health issues that western medicine didn't have the answers to. She studied Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, BC, and later at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. Here she learned directly from Doctors of Chinese Medicine, studying gynaecology, dermatology, internal medicine, paediatrics, tuina massage, and advanced orthopaedic acupuncture. After graduating from Pacific Rim, Kristina travelled to Japan where she had the amazing opportunity to train in Shiatsu massage, enjoy plenty of powder skiing, and immerse herself in Japanese culture and customs. From Japan she moved to Australia, where she mentored for one year at a fertility acupuncture clinic on the Gold Coast. Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic healthcare has truly grown into a passion for her. She is continually learning, growing, and finding ways to better assist people on their healing journeys. She is currently studying to become a registered herbalist and is very happy to be serving the communities of Kamloops and Sun Peaks Resort.
