Chyanne Carlisle

Chyanne completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta. Being raised in the integrated community of Nelson, BC she learnt from a young age how important it is to prioritize health and wellness. After having a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic in high school, Chyanne turned to alternative medicine to help recover and heal her body, which inspired her passion in the field of Eastern Medicine. She prioritizes finding the root cause of dysfunction within the body, starting with a detailed intake to tailor a treatment plan specifically to your individual needs. She is passionate about holding an open space of communication to thoroughly understand your health goals and takes a holistic approach in clinic incorporating treatments that support you physically, mentally and emotionally. Her goal is to educate and support her patients along their journey in healing, restoring balance and harmony within the body. She is continuously taking new courses, learning more techniques and expanding her knowledge on conditions. Alongside acupuncture she utilizes cupping, gua sha, electrotherapy and/or diet and lifestyle recommendations when needed.
