Xiao Yan Chen

Xiao Yan Chen (also known as Sicheng Chen) comes from a family of medical professionals in China. Inspired by her father, a TCM practitioner with over 50 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to integrating Eastern and Western medicine. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Western Medicine from Chongqing Medical University and an MD in Traditional Chinese Medicine through advanced training at Chengdu University of TCM, Sichuan. With more than 15 years of clinical practice in China, she worked as a Resident Physician and later as an Associate Chief Physician in Pediatrics at Chengdu Women's and Children's Health Center Hospital. Her expertise spans Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, and the combined application of TCM and Western medicine, with additional contributions in education and research. Since immigrating to Canada, Xiao Chen has served as an instructor of both TCM and Western medicine at Oshio TCM College. She is currently a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P), providing care in areas such as hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions, degenerative diseases, digestive disorders, insomnia, anxiety, depression, prenatal care, pediatric conditions, chronic pain, and injury recovery. Outside of her practice, she enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and playing ping-pong. Closely tied to her hometown of Chengdu, she adopted the name "Sicheng" as a personal tribute.
