Ethan Choi brings osteopathic manual therapy — a gentle, whole-body, hands-on approach — to Artemis Wellness Clinic in Richmond, BC, alongside acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He holds a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) and a DO qualification earned in Spain (a European osteopathic qualification, not a medical degree), and is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Registered TCM Practitioner (R.TCMP) regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). Ethan takes an assessment-first, whole-body approach: rather than treating only where it hurts, he looks at how the pelvis, spine, ribs and surrounding tissues move together, then uses gentle osteopathic manual techniques — soft-tissue work, joint mobilization and myofascial release — to help restore easier, more comfortable movement. Where it fits the patient's goals, he combines this with acupuncture and TCM. He commonly works with patients on lower back and neck pain, headaches and jaw tension, posture and desk-related strain, and recovery between more active phases of care. Many patients describe his treatments as calm and surprisingly light. Ethan practises in English and Korean.
