She is known for her intuitive approach and grounding presence, and has had success treating a wide range of ailments, including insomnia, eczema, digestive disorders, women’s health and fertility, headaches, anxiety, chronic fatigue and more. She also integrates her training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture and the Dr. Tan Balance Method to effectively help patients treat chronic and acute pain.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Winnie graduated from the 5 year Doctorate program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and completed a month long internship at the Tzu Chi hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. There, she had the opportunity to work alongside senior medical Doctors, treating a high volume of patients in various departments such as gynecology, post-stroke care, and out-patient care, to name a few. Winnie also has a Bachelor or Arts degree in Psychology from UBC and has training as a yoga instructor. Winnie strongly believes in working together with her patients to find the root cause of their issue, rather than just focusing on the symptoms.
