Wilkens Y.K. Yau is the founder of the Spring Wellness Clinic of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, in service to Victoria since 2008. Mr. Yau has a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine degree from the University of Hong Kong's School of Chinese Medicine. He is licensed with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) as a Registered TCM Practitioner, practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He is also one of the few practitioners in Victoria to be licensed with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong as a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner. His practice focuses on pain management, whether acute or chronic. Sport injury or other soft tissue damage on such areas as the neck, shoulder, lower back, knee or ankle are skillfully treated with acupuncture and a special herb oil/pack freshly prepared in-house. He also practices Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture for a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, insomnia, PMS, infertility, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, asthma, common cold and many others.
