Wendy has worked as Registered Acupuncturist in Sidney for over 10 years. The majority of her practice has been working with musculoskeletal conditions. She has noticed that in these changing times people are increasingly experiencing more emotionally based conditions like intense stress, anxiety, insomnia, adrenal fatigue, menopause and digestive conditions in addition to their musculoskeletal issues.
In ancient China, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine were used more as preventative therapies to maintain and protect health. With that in mind, Wendy believes in the value and the benefits of having regular Acupuncture such as managing stress more easily and maintaining a balanced body and mind. Many people also have physical jobs or jobs where they are sitting all day and require some form of regular treatment to ensure that they are well and physically fit to work. Having a balanced body and mind influences and translates to all aspects of our lives, including our relationship with ourselves and our loved ones. The best defense is maintenance and prevention!
Wendy completed her schooling at Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria with Diplomas in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Wendy is a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia.
