Sangdon Oh, R.Ac is a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia (R. Ac., CCHPBC) with a diploma in Acupuncture from Vancouver Career College (PCU) and a background in BSc. Computer Science in South Korea. **His journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began after experiencing neck, shoulder and back pain from a motor vehicle accident. Through the ICBC-funded acupuncture program, he discovered firsthand the effectiveness of acupuncture which inspired him to pursue formal studies in TCM.**
He spent two years living in Shanghai where he immersed himself in Chinese culture and studied Mandarin at Shanghai University. This experience deepened his appreciation for Eastern philosophy and strengthened his commitment to integrative medicine. He is currently expanding his expertise by studying Herbology, exploring safe and effective herbal formulas to complement his acupuncture practice.
