Dr. Tamara Clarke (she/her) is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University, where she competed in the NCAA as a varsity volleyball player. Growing up in an athletic family, Dr. Clarke has always been deeply connected to sports and active living. This background inspired her to pursue her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher. There, she was honoured with the Award of Excellence and has since become a published author in the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors Journal.
Her practice is dedicated to supporting individuals dealing with chronic and acute injuries, optimizing health and performance, and addressing hormonal-related concerns. With a personal understanding of the demands placed on student-athletes and those leading active lifestyles, she aims to provide the tools and support her patients need to stay active and engaged in the activities they love, whether it’s in the gym, on the court, on the trails, or on the slopes. Recognizing that healing extends beyond symptom management, she takes an integrative approach that considers physical, mental, and lifestyle factors impacting each patient’s health.
Dr. Clarke’s treatment philosophy is rooted in both preventative and regenerative approaches, employing a combination of therapies that may include IMS/acupuncture, nutritional support, lifestyle counselling, targeted supplementation, IV therapy, pharmaceutical prescriptions, and advanced injection therapies (prolotherapy, PRP, perineural therapy, trigger point injections).
Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Clarke cycling, skiing, vintage shopping, exploring local restaurants, and traveling.
