Shawn specializes in both Orthopedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine acupunture techniques. He seamlessly blends these approaches to offer advanced and evidence-based treatment for soft tissue injuries. Shawn’s signature method is a combination of deep-tissue/acupressure massage, cupping, and electro-acupuncture, which has been proven to provide quicker and longer-lasting results. In addition, he also employs a balancing acupuncture technique to restore balance between the energies of meridians, correcting malfunctions in internal organs, hormones, and nervous systems. With a wealth of experience and positive reviews, Shawn is also adept at treating gynecological and pre- and post-partum issues.

Born and raised in South Korea before settling in North Vancouver, Shawn is fluent in both English and Korean. He is a proud father of three children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing baseball in local leagues, and exploring the beautiful hiking trails of North Vancouver.
