Hello, I'm Spence Pentland, herbalist and horticulturist since 1995, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2004, partner and husband to my amazing wife Chantal since 2006, super dad since 2008, and Salt Spring Islander since 2021. After finishing my 5 year Dr. TCM medical education in Vancouver, an internship at Anhui Hospital in HeFei China, & passing provincial board exams for Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, & Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I became licenced to practice the full scope of TCM in BC in 2004. In my many years of practice, I have cultivated & refined unique approaches to supporting my clients mental & physical health & well-being. I combine my understanding & experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine, natural evidence-based treatment solutions, diet & lifestyle coaching, & modern counselling techniques to treat the whole person, body mind & spirit.
