Tai Shusheng, PhD in Pharmacology, Registered TCM Practitioner in Canada, Visiting Professor at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, and Representative of the "Hundred People, Hundred Projects" TCM Heritage Program for Overseas Chinese. Dr. Tai earned a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1986 and a PhD in Pharmacology from Kumamoto University, Japan, in 1999. He then conducted postdoctoral research in acupuncture and herbal medicine at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine in Canada. Career Experience includes positions at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, WHO Nanjing Traditional Medicine Collaboration Center, WHO Nanjing International Acupuncture Training Center, University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine, Alberta Cancer Research Institute, MacEwan University, Edmonton Bethune Oriental Medicine Center, Vancouver International College of TCM, Richmond Beijing TCM Academy, Burnaby PCU College of TCM, and Central TCM College of New Westminster. Current positions include Bao Gu TCM Clinic, Canadian Institute of Integrative Medicine, and International Collaboration Center for TCM Clinical Research. Dr. Tai developed a deep love for TCM from a young age, learning folk medicine from his elders, and has spent over 40 years studying, researching, and practicing TCM.
