Kevin is a graduate of the doctor of traditional Chinese medicine program at Pacific Rim College and is a registered acupuncturist, herbalist, and doctor traditional Chinese medicine practitioner with the CTCMA. In addition to his training at Pacific Rim College, Kevin completed a residency at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and its affiliate hospitals in the neurology and pain management departments. Kevin continues to develop his skills and knowledge through both mentor and self directed study with an passion for seeking out a greater understanding of the classical texts that laid the foundations of traditional Chinese medicine as it is today.
Kevin believes that healthcare should have a patient centered approach that emphasizes patient education and working with the patient to achieve their optimum health through minimal intervention. Areas of particular clinical interest to Kevin are neurology, internal medicine, cardiology & respirology, and trauma recovery.
Outside the clinic, you can find Kevin engaged with a wide variety of community organization providing first aid and aquatic emergency management training to both the public and professional groups. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys practicing Aikido, hiking, beekeeping, and reading about Chinese medicine.
