Jason graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Education, with teaching specialties in Physical Education and Biology. He then completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia. Jason has post- grad training in acupuncture, manual therapy as well as pediatric and vestibular rehabilitation.
Jason has worked in a variety of health care settings including a child development centre, home and community care, long-term care, and private practice. In addition to his clinical practice, he also works as a Physical Therapy Knowledge Broker, blending his two professional passions: Education & Health Care. As both a physical education teacher and physiotherapist with extensive pediatric experience, Jason is passionate about working with children. His experience ranges from supporting children with pediatric sports injuries to those with developmental and physical disabilities. Jason is also a parent of a child with exceptional medical needs and understands the challenges of supporting these needs.
Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation are another one of Jason's clinical interests. He has advanced post-graduate training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and enjoys helping people overcome balance disorders, concussions, dizziness and vertigo.
