Arthur developed a strong interest in medical knowledge from a young age, influenced by his family. During secondary school, an accidental injury gave him the opportunity to be exposed more deeply to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and physiotherapy, which further strengthened his aspiration to pursue a medical career. He was later admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After graduation, Arthur worked in clinical and teaching roles at various universities and NGO. In 2015, he completed a Master’s degree in Stroke and Clinical Neuroscience at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Arthur has a particular interest in degenerative diseases, acute and chronic pain disorders (such as tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, and cervical spondylosis), as well as stroke and other neurological conditions. While working in densely populated Hong Kong, he encountered a large number of patients with these conditions and gained extensive and valuable clinical experience. After 12 years of practice in Hong Kong, he relocated with his family to Vancouver in 2022, where he is grateful to continue serving the Canadian community as a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.
Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes treatment that is tailored to time, place, and the individual, Arthur is committed to developing treatment approaches that are well suited to patients in Canada. His focus extends beyond treatment alone to include health preservation and early prevention of disease. In a rapidly evolving world, Arthur strives to continuously learn and improve himself, so that he may better adapt to a new environment and provide high-quality, effective care to his patients.
