Anja was born and raised on Vancouver Island. Her favourite outdoor activities include trail running, mountain biking & skiing. She loves watching things grow including her 3 young sons and her garden. Her favourite activity is learning; the human body has provided a life long opportunity for study. Sharing that knowledge through education and empowering people to know more about their bodies is something she is very passionate about.
She had led a diverse life prior to practicing physiotherapy in various experiences including working as a rappel firefighter, ski patroller & river swimming salmon surveyor. She has travelled and lived abroad some of the highlights being trekking in Nepal & living on Anguilla, a tiny island in the Caribbean.
She graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2010 with a Masters in Physical Therapy and continued on with her education to become certified to practice acupuncture and neuro rehabilitation. She most recently became a certified hand therapist in 2018. She is thrilled to be a part of this team & looking forward to meeting you!
