Vicky Huijia Yang R.Ac is a Canadian Registered Acupuncturist with professional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture. Throughout her years’ TCM clinical practice, Vicky has been constantly pursuing and researching both classical and modern acupuncture modalities, including TCM Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Fire Cupping, Silicone Cupping, Tuina Massage, and Acupressure. Moreover, Vicky also incorporates other effective strategies in her treatment regimen, such as Moxibustion (burning herbs to warm insertion points with small electric currents). By implementing these combinational acupuncture strategies and treating the body as a whole system (contrary to narrowly restricted to affected sites), Vicky has helped hundreds of patients and successfully alleviated various health issues from the root cause, which often represent major challenges in Western Medicine.
Vicky’s specialties include treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, such as chronic pains and acute pains throughout the body, sciatica, and automobile accident-related pains in various body parts. Furthermore, Vicky also treats migraine and headaches, digestive issues, as well as mental-emotional conditions, including mental stress, insomnia, anxiety, and depression. Vicky strives to work with each patient to maximize their sense of wellbeing and enhance their overall quality of life.
