About
Dr. Trevor Erikson has been focused on the natural treatment of skin disease since 2007, after he completed an intensive Chinese medicine dermatology program in London, England (2007) and an internship in the dermatology ward in Changsha, Hunan, China (2005). He has since helped many hundreds of people suffering with a wide variety of skin disorders, as well as inflammatory bowel issues (Crohn’s disease and colitis), hay fever and asthma.
Dr. Erikson is also an internationally respected educator for using herbal medicines to treat skin disease. He has published several articles in several Chinese medicine journals, as well as taught both live and through webinar to students around the world. He currently writes exam questions for a Chinese medicine dermatology diploma program and is helping to organize an international Chinese medicine dermatology registry.
Dr. Erikson currently practices in South Surrey, about 30 minutes drive from Vancouver, as well as on Pender Island, where he resides. When not seeing patients, studying or writing articles, Dr. Erikson can be found gardening, playing guitar or spending time in nature with his wife, Gillian Allan (a Registered Midwife), and three children.
