Timothy Fong's journey in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began in early childhood, growing up in his grandparents' TCM clinic in Ottawa, Ontario. From a young age, he not only witnessed but personally experienced the profound therapeutic results of his grandmother's Tuina therapy and his grandfather's herbal medicine in treating injury and illness. At the heart of Timothy's practice is a distinctive Tuina system founded by his family and continuously practiced, refined, and preserved for over a century. This lineage-based therapeutic method has been carefully passed down across generations, emphasizing structural precision, deep tissue understanding, meridian regulation, and practical clinical effectiveness. Recognizing the responsibility of carrying this legacy forward, Timothy underwent rigorous apprenticeship under his grandmother's direct guidance. Years of disciplined training allowed him to internalize the subtleties, diagnostic insight, and technical precision that define this century-old method. To complement his classical training with modern scientific knowledge, Timothy earned his Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia in 2017, developing a strong foundation in human physiology and pathology. He further advanced his clinical expertise by completing the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver in 2021. With over a decade of dedicated study in his family's century-old Tuina and herbal medicine traditions, Timothy is committed to preserving this rare therapeutic lineage while integrating it thoughtfully into modern healthcare practice.
