Originally from New Zealand, Susie graduated from AUT in Auckland with an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy. Soon after this she moved to Canada and trained in Manual Therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division.
Over her long career in private practice Susie has developed skills and experience in many areas including the treatment of a wide range of Musculoskeletal Disorders, Sports Injuries, Temperomandibular Disorders, Face /Jaw pain, pre/post Surgical Rehabilitation, IMS/acupuncture, Womens Health/Pelvic Floor Re-education, and Office/Vehicle Ergonomics.
Her treatments utilize patient education, manual therapy, exercises, movement pattern retraining, IMS/acupuncture, and soft tissue release techniques. She develops personalized treatment plans for each patient, empowering them to take an active role in their own recovery.
A commitment to ongoing education and a passion for learning ensures that she brings patient centred evidence based Physiotherapy treatments to all.
