Stefanie Miska

Stefanie Miska (she/her) began her studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria and completed her five year Doctor of TCM diploma at the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, BC in 2014.

Stefanie has been in private practice since 2015 in Victoria in a wide variety of clinical settings before focusing her practice on reproductive health. Having dedicated the majority of her practice to supporting her patients in growing their families or navigating complex reproductive challenges, she has continued her education and treatment expertise with specialized courses and mentorship.

Stefanie has a special interest in treating preconception care, fertility treatment support, pregnancy loss, endometriosis, PCOS, and hypothalamic amenorrhea. In addition to these, she is experienced in supporting stress and anxiety, migraine headaches, musculoskeletal pain, and menopause.

Passionate about travel, Stefanie spent time between graduation and starting her practice offering acupuncture at yoga retreats in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico. She has completed her doula training through Mothering Touch and previously ran a postpartum nourishment support business for new parents.

Stefanie completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in Mexico in 2015, and has attended many courses in breath work facilitation and for a number of years offered breath work circles for her patients and community.

Outside of the clinic Stefanie enjoys playing on her Div 3 soccer team, participating in masters swimming, hiking PKOLS, camping, surfing in Tofino, and exploring the beach with her partner and young daughter.
