Rowena Booth

Rowena is a Registered Acupuncturist, A Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture® Practitioner and Certified in Constitutional-Facial Acupuncture by MEW of New York. As a former engineer, Rowena is fascinated by how ancient healing linked to modern science-Acupuncture points are located near major nerve bundles suggesting a connection between the flow of Qi and nerve signal transmission. Her real passion lies in helping people that's why she has continued to further her education and has taken multiple Sports Medicine Acupuncture courses including an extensive cadaveric dissection. She graduated from Matt Callison's prestigious Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program in San Diego, making her one of the nine certified Sports Medicine acupuncturists in British Columbia. She enjoys incorporating philosophies of TCM and acupuncture with advanced and modern techniques. Through her gentle needling technique and individualized care, Rowena strives to empower her patients to find healing on many different levels of their life- physical, mental and emotional.
