Growing up in a family of physicists, Olya never imagined she would one day become an acupuncturist. Surrounded by science and logic, she pursued academic excellence, graduating from both high school and university with honours, and later building a successful 20-year career in business.
Her path changed after the birth of her second son, when she faced a serious illness that left her in constant pain. For seven years she searched for relief in hospitals across Europe and North America, relying heavily on painkillers and suppressants that masked but never resolved her condition. Nearly out of hope, Olya turned to acupuncture. After her very first treatment, she experienced relief without medication — something that felt impossible given her scientific background. Over time, acupuncture completely resolved her pain and restored her health.
This transformative experience inspired Olya to dedicate her life to Chinese Medicine. She graduated from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, Summa Cum Laude.
She approaches every individual as unique, carefully customizing treatments to meet their needs. Depending on the case, she may use gentle, distal acupuncture or a more vigorous orthopedic approach.
Her areas of practice include:
Pain management
Digestive health
Women’s health
Emotional trauma support
Olya’s mission is to make acupuncture accessible to everyone who needs it. She believes that regular treatments, combined with small yet meaningful changes in diet, lifestyle, and exercise, can bring profound healing and balance at any age.
