Born and raised in Victoria BC the passion for health was engrained into me at a young age as many of my relatives were Nurses. I was pursuing a career as a Registered Dietitian when it came time for me to apply to the competitive program at UBC. It was in that moment that I didn't feel passionate about it. I knew I still loved the medicine of food but I wanted a different connection to the body. I started attending different talks from varying health and wellness fields and I saw one on Traditional Chinese Medicine. I instantly knew that was what I wanted to do. I have witnessed amazing changes in clients using Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and I am still in awe each time it happens. I moved to Vancouver where I ran a practice I loved for 7 years but decided a change in lifestyle was in order and moved to sunny Kelowna. Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit - the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an effect on our state of well-being. There is no one-and-only solution to health. Every form of medicine has a place in our health care and it is about finding what works best for you in that moment, for that ailment. Health is a relationship between you and your body.
