#Nakyung (Chloe) Kim
Nakyung (Chloe) Kim is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P) based in Burquitlam Lougheed (West Coquitlam), British Columbia, and a dedicated practitioner at Evergreen Rehab & Wellness – Burquitlam Lougheed. She is officially licensed by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA).
Chloe began her healthcare journey by studying counseling at Chung-Ang University in Korea, where she developed a deep understanding of the powerful connection between emotional well-being and physical health. This foundation allows her to provide truly holistic, patient-centered care that addresses both the mind and body.
Her treatment philosophy follows the core principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)—seeing each person as an integral part of nature and emphasizing the balance between health and disease. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, Chloe works to identify and address the root causes of illness through personalized treatment plans. She integrates various TCM therapies, including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, acupressure massage, and dietary guidance, to activate the body’s natural healing mechanisms and promote long-term wellness.
At Evergreen Rehab & Wellness – Burquitlam Lougheed, Chloe has helped patients manage a wide range of conditions. She is particularly skilled in treating musculoskeletal disorders such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and sciatica, as well as emotional conditions like anxiety and depression, women’s health concerns including menstrual cramps, migraines, and infertility, and chronic conditions such as fatigue, insomnia, autoimmune diseases, and other internal imbalances.
Acupuncture—one of the key treatments she offers—stimulates the body’s self-healing abilities, improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation, and supports tissue repair. Chloe is also highly proficient in acupressure massage, using precise point stimulation to relieve muscular pain, enhance qi and blood flow, and restore overall energy.
She values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients through attentive listening and genuine empathy. Her goal is to guide each patient toward optimal health and balance, integrating both physical and emotional healing into every treatment plan.
