Morven is a Registered Acupuncturist and Practitioner of Natural Healing with a passion for holistic wellness. She earned a Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College, graduating magna cum laude. She is registered with the College of Complimentary Health Professionals of British Columbia. Growing up on the East Coast, she completed her BSc in Biochemistry Nutrition at Memorial University of Newfoundland before discovering her passion for acupuncture. Through her sessions she guides people who are struggling with many ailments including chronic illness, chronic pain, stress, fertility, and acute symptoms, to gain a life of abundant wellness through the art of deep healing with Chinese Medicine.
With her somatic and trauma-informed approach to acupuncture Morven focuses on the emotional and nervous system roots to imbalances, pain, and illness. She guides her patients through their healing journey, or relaxation session with compassion and comfort. By creating a safe space for even the most sensitive individuals to unwind, be heard, and receive a comprehensive Acupuncture treatment she offers a unique approach to healing. She also offers Tui Na (Chinese massage) and gentle bodywork techniques —which focus on relaxation, mobilization, and energy balance working with Qi, fascia, and the muscular system.
Additionally, Morven offers gentle coaching and support to her patients who need more dialogue and can consult on Eastern and holistic nutrition, lifestyle, circadian rhythm, movement, mental wellness, and much more. Her clinical skills include compassionate inquiry, trauma-informed coaching, acupuncture, massage, fire cupping, gua sha, moxabustion, myofascial acupuncture, as well as cosmetic and spa style treatments.
