Lara Tisseur

Lara Tisseur is a licensed Acupuncturist, holding an Acupuncture Diploma from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. Before finding her place in Chinese Medicine, Lara earned a Bachelor's degree of Arts with an Environmental Specialty Certificate at Simon Fraser University. Lara is passionate about working with patients to help them better understand their health and its role in providing a balanced, healthy and empowered quality of life. Her passion is focused on reproductive health and fertility, including preconception health care, Pregnancy, Postpartum, PCOS, Endometriosis, Miscarriage, Irregularity in cycles, Unexplained Infertility, Male Factor Infertility, IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) support and IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) support. She enjoys working with patients who are concurrently undergoing fertility treatments to bring their dreams into reality. She spent many years supporting IVF patients with acupuncture by going on site to fertility clinics in Vancouver on their special day of embryo transfer. She also has special interests in pain management, mental health, facial rejuvenation, natural anti-aging and preventative care. Lara creates customized treatment plans working in partnership with her patients to provide treatments to achieve their health goals. Lara enjoys helping patients achieve wellness by discovering the patient's unique needs, primary issues and areas of imbalance. She balances the body using acupuncture and other Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies such as Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Electro stimulation acupuncture (EA), Auricular-EAR Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation / Cosmetic Acupuncture. A huge believer in work-life balance, she derives tremendous satisfaction from helping patients achieve their own health goals that will ultimately improve their overall quality of life.
