With an interest in the inner workings of the cell as well as genetics, Jacob Ketterer's education began with a Biology degree from the University of Victoria which he completed in 2016. Since this time, a growing passion for sports medicine, Eastern philosophy, and a personal background in health and fitness led Jacob to pursue a Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College finishing in 2023, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jacob became a Registered Acupuncturist shortly after, having completed additional coursework relating to powerlifting coaching and programming since his registration.
Jacob enjoys working with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and internal medicine disorders, especially low and upper back pain, joint pain, TMJ pain, insomnia, and weight-lifting related injuries - an area in which he has extensive personal experience.
In his personal life, Jacob is an avid powerlifter, a hobby he has pursued for over a decade. Having grown up on the Peninsula, he has a special affinity for the ocean, and can often be found dipping into the local waters at all times of the year for a paddle board or a swim. During his downtime, Jacob enjoys reading philosophy and history, drinking quality coffee, and meditation - especially in the natural surroundings of the peninsula.
