About
I-Chia ("ee-jah-) Sun, MD is pleased to offer private one-on-one integrative therapy sessions as well as group classes at Healing Waters Acupuncture Clinic. I-Chia has over 20 years of experience in Family Medicine (2001) combined with Medical Acupuncture (2007), incorporating the energetic, emotional and the subconscious to facilitate healing of trauma and to access the root causes of ill health.
In early 2023, Dr. Sun started teaching Fascial Maneuvers (Human Garage) to share knowledge, encourage self-empowered healing & awareness practises as well as to honour the important role each person plays in their own healing journey.
We must evolve and grow as life constantly presents change. Dr. Sun has learned and trained in Qi Gong, Reiki, Ancestral Healing, Guided Self-inquiry and Vispassana Meditation. I-Chia has been blessed to have many great teachers over the years including Dr. Steven KH Aung of Edmonton, Alberta.
It is highly recommended to try a class & learn about how to work with one's own fascia. The fascia is the bridge between the physical and energetic aspects of the body - opening restrictions helps to free the qi, release stress and pain, improve mobility, and expand awareness.
Dr. Sun welcomes everyone. There are no barriers to healing especially when self-practice is freely available.
