Hannah Nguyen

At Lavender Counselling, I had received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, and had completed my Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Counselling and Human Development from Simon Fraser University. I received my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. In my work as a counsellor, I have worked with clients primarily through a relational, humanistic, and person-centered lens. I have continued to work in expanding my competency in areas such as trauma-informed practices, as well as in child and youth counselling. I have completed workshops and trainings in: Trauma-Informed Practice Level 1 & 2; Helping Children Heal from Complex Trauma (Children's Foundation); in working with Trauma Exposed Professionals (Warrior Health); and in Play Therapy 1 & 2 (Justice Institute of British Columbia).
