Genevieve Bussieres

Genevieve was raised in Montreal in a family that values healthy foods, laughter, and natural medicines. Both her parents are natural health practitioners and own a clinic in Montreal. The natural environment she lived in and her family history lead her to studying natural medicines and practices.

She chose the oldest natural medicine system, Traditional Chinese Medicine, as her next career choice and was soon enrolled in Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology. Genevieve has graduated as a Licenced Acupuncturist and maintains a growing practice. Never one to be satisfied when there is still more to know, she is now completing her Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) and will offer the full range of services.

The emotional and physical aspects of trauma lend themselves to the patient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Much of her practice is focussed on this area of treatment. She welcomes all clients and provides experienced, licenced, and dedicated care. Working with the clients and addressing their concerns she will modify treatments taking their concerns into consideration. The goal is the provision of services affecting healing while eliminating side effects in a calm, gentle,and non judgemental environment.

Many of the treatments are covered by various insurance plans in BC. Some employers provided extended Health Plans, WorkSafe BC, and ICBC coverage may qualify. Some BC Medical Service Plan (MSP) may also be covered.
