###Professional Development, Experience, and Certifications
Before embarking on Naturopathic Medicine, she received her undergraduate degree in Public Health and pursued her master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, followed by a PhD in Patho-Immunology at Michigan State University.
In 1997, she was appointed as an assistant professor in the University of Medical Sciences, Department of Immunology in Iran. She held this position until 2002 when she decided to move to Canada to continue her carrier and establish a bright and promising future for her children.
From 2002 to 2004 she was appointed as Medical Director and Product Specialist in a German-based clinical diagnostic company in Vancouver. Not ever thinking of going back to school again, in 2005 she decided to take the challenging journey and study her passionate field of Naturopathic Medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Osati is an active member of:
- the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia,
- Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors,
- British Columbia Naturopathic Association,
- and European Academy of Allergy and Immunology.

###Rehabilitation Philosophy
She comes from a background that has a wealth of educational and clinical research experience and hopes to combine these skills with naturopathic medicine to create the best level of care for her patients. She respects and values conventional medicine and believes that both conventional and naturopathic medicine can go side by side to complement each other and offer the best and most valuable prevention/treatment regimen to her patients.
Treating the root cause and the whole person are the principles of Naturopathic medicine and the foundation of Dr. Osati’s practice. Following these principles and a strong belief in the body’s self-healing capacity, she aims to tailor her recommendations and treatment plans to the patient’s medical condition, vital force, and the optimum goals of each visit. She considers herself as an educator, coach, and motivator, and the patient’s willingness and efforts as the main drive through the journey of healing.

###When Not In Clinic
Dr. Osati lives with her supportive husband and her two loving daughters and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. She believes that a strong and healthy relationship and support among the family members is the foundation of joy and happiness as well as mental and physical health.
