Dr. Flora Guinu Fang, registered Dr. TCM with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA), has been practicing Chinese medicine including herbal medicine, acupuncture, and tuina in both China and Canada for over 35 years. She was also a TCM instructor in PCU Holistic Medicine College Sept.2003- June 2016). Dr. Fang completed her five years intensive study of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine University and received her Master's degree from Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University in 1989. She practised general Chinese medicine in Zhejiang Provincial Hospital, where she achieved the top professional title of a chief doctor as a result of her outstanding accomplishment. Meanwhile she also conducted clinical and scientific research in the field of Chinese medicine. Dr. Fang specializes in acupuncture and tuina (specifically joints alignment, muscles restoration), She understands the patient's problem not only in terms of Chinese medicine theory and meridian theory, but also through the perspective of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Treating the symptom and most importantly the root of the problem, she applies acupuncture in the use to relax muscle, relieve inflammation, improve circulation, regulate nerve function, and to unblock lymph system. Using the tuina manipulation (muscles restoration and bone alignment), she sets the incorrect bone alignments and imbalance muscles back to their normal biomechanics positions.
