Eliza first became interested in Chinese medicine as a teenager, seeking ways to improve her mental health and manage an autoimmune disease. After trying many Western modalities with limited success, she was amazed by the positive effects that regular acupuncture treatments, consistent lifestyle habits, and proper nutrition had on her nervous system and mental health, all without adverse side effects. Eliza graduated with honors in 2020 from the Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. Her additional training includes MSK Acupuncture, Electro Acupuncture, and Fertility + Pregnancy Support Acupuncture. She enjoys treating a variety of ailments, but her passion lies in helping patients regulate their nervous systems, which has a calming effect throughout the body. Having struggled with skin issues such as dermatitis, rashes, puffiness, and dryness caused by high stress and food intolerances, Eliza found successful treatment through Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Facial Cupping, non-toxic skincare, and LED light therapy. These non-invasive modalities focus on the cellular health of the skin, allowing the signs of aging to soften while maintaining the natural look of the individual. Eliza has completed two Facial Acupuncture continuing education courses and practices Michelle Gellis's Facial Rejuvenation protocol, following the guidance of a leader in the field. Outside of her practice, Eliza loves staying active, engaging in trail running, yoga, surfing, hiking, and snowboarding, and enjoys spending time with her puppy, Churro.
