Doda Suh was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Canada at the age of 11. Doda has been a Victoria resident ever since. When she turned 22, she first became interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine through a book she was reading on her trip to San Francisco. A year later, from her 3rd year in Microbiology at University of Victoria, she transferred to Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology and there she found her endless passion in TCM. After years of learning and training, Doda graduated with two diplomas in Acupuncture and Herbs and in 2019, became a licensed TCM Practitioner. Doda has rich clinical experience. Her 10 years of training include her practice at two locations of school clinics as a student practitioner and as an apprentice at Kangnam E-rim Hospital in Seoul, Korea. She has treated many different patients of various cases using acupuncture and herbs from hypertension to varicose veins. Her special interest is obesity but also belly fat, hair loss, sleep problems etc. Doda offers the gentlest kind of acupuncture making it a wonderful experience for first timers. Doda's knowledge of herbs has been strengthened and solidified by shadowing and learning from Dr. Ganglin Yin, a well respected teacher and Doctor of TCM. Besides acupuncture and herbal medicine, Doda offers Massage as secondary or even primary treatment for her patients. Doda took an extra course for Massage and her special talent in this area has been recognized by many. Doda continues to study and research in her field of Chinese Medicine so she is able to give her clients the most efficient treatment as possible.
