David Yap

David is a Registered Acupuncturist with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from UBC and a Diploma in Acupuncture from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He furthered his studies through the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Summer Program, gaining additional experience and expertise. He offers a range of services including: acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, and tui na (Chinese massage). David's practice focuses on rehabilitation of chronic and acute muscular injuries such as whiplash, low back pain, shoulder issues, knee injuries, ankle sprains, tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel syndrome. He also has experience treating digestive problems, stress, insomnia, facial paralysis, and more. David tailors each treatment to meet the unique needs of his patients, helping them alleviate pain and improve overall health and well-being. Outside of work, David is a huge foodie, who enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, watching anime and is a big boxing fan.
