Chantelle Zhuang

Chantelle Zhuang has been a fully qualified Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for fifteen years. She has dedicated her life to the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and to educating the general public about this safe, effective, and drug-free method of enhancing and revitalizing one's own health. Dr. Zhuang opened and established Victoria Natural Healing Clinic in 2006 as a way to offer Victoria residents an alternative approach to healing and maintaining the vital health of the body. Dr. Zhuang spent seven years studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and received a Master of Acupuncture (M. Ac.) at Nanjing University of TCM in China. Dr. Zhuang also spent six years in an apprenticeship (in China) under Professor Xian, Master of Chinese herbs. Her education in China brings a unique specialized knowledge of acupuncture beyond the concept of Western acupuncture. Dr. Zhuang has a great passion for the art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has dedicated herself to years of additional study in order to advance and improve her clinical skills. She is enthusiastic about educating clients, the general public and students about the health benefits and theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She taught at Nanjing University of TCM in China, and in Canada at International College of TCM and Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria for the past eight years. She also worked 1 year in Italy. Dr. Zhuang's personal philosophy involves assisting her clients and students to understand their body and health from a Chinese Medicine perspective. She believes in empowering people to take personal responsibility for their health and take charge of their own healing process thus experiencing optimal health, joy and a high quality of life. Dr. Zhuang's unique treatment style utilizes the combination of classical Chinese acupuncture and navel acupuncture, which is based on a very ancient system of universal rules, known as the I Ching. Dr. Zhuang is a licensed Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the province of British Columbia. She is a current member in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) as well as a member of the British Columbia Qualified Acupuncturists and TCM Practitioners Association.
