Carly Potter

Carly Potter is a board-certified, registered acupuncturist with experience treating hundreds of patients from all over the world. After graduating from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria, she worked on cruise ships for four years before establishing a clinic in England. Born and raised in the Alberni Valley, Carly has chosen to resume her practice back in Port Alberni, bringing her wealth of experience home to the Alberni Medical Clinic. Carly utilizes the precision and power of acupuncture as part of a holistic, integrative approach to health and well-being. Carly's specialties include pain management, cosmetic acupuncture, stress/anxiety relief, women's health, and hormone balancing. Known for her warm demeanour and compassionate approach, Carly uses Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cupping, Gua Sha and leading-edge motor point and trigger point needling to identify and relieve acute and chronic pain and internal dysfunction.
