Angela Barrette

Angela specializes in allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, absorption issues and chronic deficiencies. She focuses on how these underlying issues affect the digestive tract, lead to hormonal and reproductive issues, create anxiety, fatigue and result in chronic pain. Angela's passion for alternative health came unexpectedly after suffering with years of debilitating digestive issues that Western Medicine just had no answers or treatment for. After years of struggling to find relief someone very close to her suggested that she give Acupuncture and Homeopathy a try; at this point she felt like she had nothing to lose. The results were amazing and within the first 4 weeks after beginning treatment she was completely free of pain for the first time in 5 years! This experience changed her life in more ways than one and needless to say she had a decision to make as she was beginning her training to join the Western Medical field in hopes to become a Western Physician; as she always wanted to become a Doctor; however as life had it those plans quickly changed and she decided to enroll into a different program all together and become both a Registered Acupuncturist and a Dr of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently Angela owns and operates her own clinic in the city of Fort St. John, British Columbia. It is here that she first began her journey into alternative medicine, so it only made sense for her to bring her training and expertise back to the place she knows as home.
