B.A., MAOM, R.Ac.
Alison began her acupuncture studies in 2002 at the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas. During her time at AOMA, Alison discovered a special affinity for women’s health, and, after graduating, she dedicated several years to working in the field of fertility, addressing issues for both women and men.
Throughout her career, Alison has used acupuncture to help individuals of all ages with a wide range of concerns, including allergies, digestive disturbances, menstrual disorders, menopause, insomnia, sleep issues, stress, anxiety, headaches, migraines and more.
Alison firmly believes that the mind and spirit play a critical role in physical illness. She adheres to the principle that an advanced TCM practitioner treats the spirit first, followed by the physical body.
Alison is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the U.S. (NCCAOM) and a registered acupuncturist in Canada (CCHPBC). She has also completed training in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, where she helps patients achieve natural ways to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
