Dana Alden graduated from the University of Ottawa where she received her Bachelor of Science Honours in Human Kinetics. While working in the food-service industry, she became quite passionate about nutrition, pushing her decision to pursue more training in the field of Holistic Nutrition.
As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Dana has worked with clients on managing their food allergies and improving digestive issues. She has worked with Naturopathic Doctors to help build alternative meal plans for complex case-patients and as a private chef to help athletes achieve optimal performance.
To fulfil her dream of becoming a Licensed Acupuncturist, Dana focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at The Pacific College of Holistic Medicine, Vancouver. As an Acupuncturist, Dana takes a holistic and personalized approach to address the roots of her patients’ health issues from physical pain, stress, anxiety, to insomnia.
Plus, Dana is quite passionate about using the power of Acupuncture for women’s health, fertility support, pregnancy, and postpartum care. If there is something prominent affecting her patients’ healing or health journey, she cares about it.
Dana also enjoys working in conjunction with other practitioners at Krell Wellness, so patients get the best possible well-rounded care on their healing journey.
