Dr. Ladan Mohammadi, the founder and owner of Metrotown Acupuncture, is a registered doctor of traditional Chinese medicine (Dr. TCM) and a registered acupuncturist (R.Ac.) who graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver at the top of her class. Dr. Ladan moved to BC over a decade ago and completed her PhD in Engineering at the University of British Columbia. Since then, Dr. Ladan has been on a journey towards understanding and examining various paths for health and well-being. Understanding how to rejuvenate and revitalize the body so it can function optimally has been an ongoing pursuit for Dr. Ladan. Dr. Ladan believes that despite natural processes of aging, genetic disposition, as well as various social and environmental stressors, our body and mind possess an innate potential to heal. Acupuncture can help stimulate this healing potential.
