Katolen is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, Craniosacral Therapist and Medical Herbalist with a private practice in Vancouver and Coquitlam BC since 2000.
She specializes in herbal medicine consultations for women’s health issues, skin dis-ease, and digestive disorders and believes in providing usable tools for healing through inspiration and education.
Katolens education, while obtaining her degree as Doctor of Osteopathy (EU), entailed over 3474 educational hours, along with 1000 additional hours of in-person Osteopathy Clinical Internship, which meets the World Health Organizations requirements for Osteopathic training worldwide.
Katolen works in Coquitlam and Vancouver, BC as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner.
Osteopathy offers support for temporo-mandibular joint disorders, mobility issues, concussions, chronic pain management, headaches, repetitive strain injuries and trauma. (Katolen’s Special interest: include temporo-mandibular joint disorders, headaches, concussions, cervical spine, neck and shoulder issues).

For 18 years, Katolen appeared monthly on a nationally syndicated morning news show on Global Television in Canada where she offered herbal information to the public. She was past President of the British Columbia Herbalist Association (BCHA) from 2013-2019 and past President of the Canadian Council of Herbalist Associations (CCHA) from 2017-2023. Adjunct faculty at Boucher School of Naturopathic Medicine in the Botanical Medicine department for over a decade and instructor at Dominion Herbal College while they ran their Clinical Herbal Therapy program from 2010-2023. Her book "The Good Living Guide to Natural and Herbal Remedies" has been in the top 10 in its category of herbal medicine on Amazon.
Currently Katolen mentors advanced students of herbal medicine at international herbal medicine schools and offers herbal medicine continuing education classes to the public at the University of British Columbia Sustainable Farms (UBC Farms).
When time allows, Katolen is traveling, learning about indigenous healing plants and exploring other cultures. She loves photography and yoga.
