Jen Aberhart is a dedicated physiotherapist in North Vancouver with over 15 years of experience helping clients move better, reduce pain, and improve function. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan, and continually advances her expertise through post-graduate certifications.
Her treatment approach combines musculoskeletal-focused acupuncture, IMS (dry needling), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), myofascial release, Mulligan’s mobilizations, McKenzie Therapy for neck and back pain, as well as Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Jen blends these hands-on techniques with targeted exercise and evidence-based strategies to restore mobility, relieve pain, and prevent reinjury.
Jen has worked in diverse clinical settings, from acute care hospitals to private orthopedic clinics, and has participated in humanitarian medical trips worldwide. She is experienced in managing orthopaedic injuries, sports-related conditions, motor vehicle accident recovery, post-surgical rehab, and chronic pain.
With a strong background in strength and conditioning from her time as a competitive athlete, Jen understands the physical and mental demands of sport and applies this insight to support both recreational and competitive athletes.
