Growing up in China, my family would always choose Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to take of our health. I have seen how acupuncture relieved my mom's shingles pain, how it has treated my son's syte without touching his eyelid, and so many other occasions where TCM herbs have helped us to come back into balance and have a better quality of life.
Acupuncture, as well as special TCM treatments, are based on the diagnosis from whole body analysis. The treatments help treat the root cause of disease, supporting a better balance of Qi and Blood circulation and reducing the possibility of disease for the future.
Based on my experience, Acupuncture and special TCM treatments can help patients to improve the following :
• Stress / Depression / Anxiety / Insomnia
• Pain relief (muscular / joint / neck and shoulder / lower back), Migraines
• Digestive system issues (Constipation/ Diarrhea / Bloating, etc.)
• Women’s Health (PMS / Dysmenorrhea / Menopausal Symptoms, etc.)
• Immune system (Resistance to catching colds / Inflammation etc.)
• Circulatory system ( Edema and Swelling / Slow Metabolism / Cold Hands and Feet)
I have also been an avid practitioner of yoga for over 15 years, and I believe that, for some people who are suffering from body pain/soreness or unbalanced body structure, certain Yoga or Taiji poses as a daily exercise could be helpful after Acupuncture, too. I also love Meditation, Taiji and Qigong.
I completed the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Program (including Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine) at Vancouver Career College, and then obtained the Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) certifications in BC.
